Five tasks at once.Fifteen minutes and done.
Tasks do not queue for your attention — appto runs them in parallel. You stop being the bottleneck of your own company.
You spent those fifteen minutes in a meeting. None of the five tasks waited for you to get back to your desk — and none of them needed you to track which stage it was at.
You do not have to watch it.The work happens without an audience.
The AI needs roughly the same time either way. The difference is whether somebody has to sit there and watch the answer being written. In the inbox, nobody does.
Hand over your first task
The same result. No matter who asks.
Quality does not depend on how well somebody phrases a prompt. The standard sits in the assistant and in the company context, so a person opening AI for the first time gets what a daily user gets.
You do not have to teach the team prompt writing. It is enough that they know what they want to ask for — the rest is held by the assistant you set up once.
On its own.But not everything.
You draw the line, separately for every assistant. Anything going outside stops in front of it by default and waits for one click.
Hello, attached is the quote in line with what we agreed on Thursday. The 8% discount applies with payment up front, valid for 14 days…
Send ReviseA task is not done by “AI”.It is done by an agent.
Every request goes to the agent for that area — it knows your procedure and has access to the right tools. It works within the permissions of the person who asked, so it will not see anything that person cannot see.
Runs the case by your procedure: replacement first, a refund only after two failed repairs.
Every Monday it pulls the numbers from the CRM and the sheets into one summary for the board — with a note on what changed.
The same agent answers in appto, in Slack and in Microsoft Teams. The thread is free the moment you hand the task over — the work runs in the background and you go back to yours.

Before you hand over the first task
The usual questions about work handed over whole. Got an unusual process? We will walk through it with you and say plainly what can be handed over.
How is this different from an ordinary AI chat?
A chat ends with text you still have to act on: copy, paste, send, update. A task handed over in the Inbox ends with an outcome — a finished document, a sent message, an updated record. You come back to the result, not to instructions on what to do next.
How does appto know how to do it our way?
From the company context and the connected tools. It knows your price list, procedures, templates and the decisions from your conversations, so the quote is built on your template and your terms, not generic ones. That is why the Inbox only makes sense once knowledge and tools are connected — on an empty account it will quickly generate a lot of things, none of them usable.
Will appto send something to a customer without us knowing?
Not unless you set it up that way. For every assistant you draw the line: what it does on its own and what stops as a finished draft for approval. By default anything going outside — an email to a customer, a change to a deal amount — waits for your click.
What does appto see in our data?
Exactly as much as the person who handed over the task. The agent works within their permissions — it will not see a folder, a channel or a record they cannot open. Changing someone’s permissions immediately changes the scope of their tasks.
What happens when a task fails?
Instead of breaking off halfway, the agent tries again and carries the thing to the end. If something is missing or a tool refuses, the task ends with a question to you rather than half-finished work — and you can see which step it stopped at.
